In the middle between the historical Matjiesfontein, the astronomically famous Sutherland and the flood-surviving Laingsburg lies Spitzkop.
What on earth?
Spitzkop is not just an ordinary campsite. Here, we have a bush camp that is ideal for large groups, solo campers or family campers. There are also several incredibily beautiful spots for off grid wild campers along the Buffels river or in the hills at the foot of the Komsberg.
Spitzkop has the only venue in the Moordenaarskaroo where you can host the most spectacular events. This stone-build venue has a castle-like appearance and can comfortably accommodate 120 people.

Spitzkop offers various 4x4 routes for the adventurous. There are family-friendly routes as well as more challenging ones that will put the driver's skills to the test.
